Shipping and general storage aren’t the only uses for 20ft shipping containers. In fact, they can be used for a range of applications including bespoke shop use, pubs, studios and canteens.
The industries they can be used in are just as varied – construction, agriculture, firework shops and sports clubs are just some examples among many others.
We offer a selection of new and used 20ft containers. All are built with 27mm flooring (plywood), a multitude of lashing points and air vents, and are fully watertight and windproof. All new models come with a lock box too, whereas these are optional in used products.
20ft Shipping Container Applications
These models are easily convertible, with alterations including window and door alterations, roller shutter doors, and the addition of lighting, heating and electrics: they are our most popular range due to this versatility.
Our 20ft containers are extremely versatile, making them suitable for a range of applications, including custom-made biomass boiler housing, welfare/washroom units chemical storage, pop-up shops, studios, offices, bars & restaurants, workshops, canteens, hotels, temporary laboratories, electrical intake/switch rooms and many more.
They are one of our most popular sizes, and are easily converted. Common modifications include roller shutter doors, bespoke doors and windows, and the addition of heating, lighting and electrics.
What’s included?
Available in standard, standard height, side opening, tunnel and open top. All models are wind and watertight, and come fitted with multiple air vents, a plywood floor, and multiple lashing points.
New and used ranges available. All new models come fitted with a lock box as standard; the lock box is optional for used products.
You can also purchase a sliding shackle padlock for extra security.

We were after a good ‘looking’ but cheap 40ft storage container which would allow us to process and store the books before we ship them to Kenya to become a library. We also needed the container to be positioned in a rather awkward place. The container arrived exactly in the middle of its delivery slot and the driver expertly placed it where we wanted it, without a single complaint.
